Time is short, and life moves fast. After graduation, most of us become busy with a new job in a new environment. With these busy schedules, most alumni wish to connect, but feel that it would be too time-consuming to become more active in the association. It's easier to be part of the group than you think.

Consider a more involved role in the association. Even a yearly visit to campus on a weekend to help out with a myriad of events ranging from SkillsUSA to College Preview will benefit you and TSTC. If you are not able to physically attend, participate through this web site.

Each active technology on campus has an advisory board. These boards are responsible for directing the department, and meet annually. Since graduation, you've likely immersed yourself in the skill set learned at TSTC. You can help guide your former department with your insight to the technology, current job market, and the needs of your respective industry. Let us help you connect back with, and be a part of the success of your graduating department.

Whether you have started your own business or are working for another, you become aware of job opportunities in your field. Use the alumni association to find recent graduates or seasoned veterans available to fill these positions. With the connections and association with TSTC alumni, you will be able to find or recommend the best person for the job.

Of course, what would an Alumni Association be without a plug for donations? The association provides scholarships for current students. Students that are children of alumni are given extra consideration. Be sure that when you give to the college, that you designate specifically that you would like the donation to be to the Alumni Association.
