Mr. David Hight recently emailed the association this letter:

My name is David Hight.  I completed my AAS degree in Instrumentation and Robotics in the Fall of 1997.  Before graduation, I received several offers of employment, and I decided to move to Colorado Springs as a field service representative in the semiconductor equipment industry.  I have worked for several companies over the last 10 years such as Nokia, Siemens, and Applied Materials before joining Texas Instruments in 2005.  I am now a senior equipment technician working at DMOS6, TI's state of the art 300mm wafer fab in Dallas.  I have been very fortunate in my career thus far, and I would not have been able to get start ed in this industry without the aid of my associates degree from TSTC.  I am thankful to have had the high level of instruction from the faculty, especially Bob Lovelace, he inspired me and made some of my classes very useful in my career.

I hope this inspires at least one student or prospective student to keep on keeping on!
